INFORMATION:

For OFF Spin 11 we collected 4 tracks from some of the hottest names around.

With "Shout" Andre Crom presents a deep and sleazy bassline-monster with anthemic vocals.

"Must You Be" is a laidback funk-tool which climaxes in a surprising mini-break before dropping back into the deep groove.

Jesse Perez shows us his definition of a "Hialeah House Party", a raw & dirty groove with rough bassline, oldschoolish sound design and his trademark freaky vocal action.

"Connected" completes the pack with a massive dose of 80ies synth funk with strong pop influences.

After a spectacularly successful 2013, which saw Weiss being championed by the likes of Groove Armada, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, DJ Sneak, AFFKT & more; the hit single My Sister premiering on B-Traits BBC Radio 1 show whilst staying strong in the Beatport top ten chart for over 4 months, Weiss returns with a sublime new single The Guitar Man destined to take over the deepest dance floors. Its not a big secret that we have been big fans of Kevin Over for quite some time here at the Noir Music headquarters and when Kevin agreed to work on an EP for the label we were super excited. Its another one of those releases that showcase the artist's talent perfectly and with Kevin Over we get a stand-out deep flavour. We have been choosing the tracks carefully to make this release spot on for a man that really deserves some serious attention. Hit play and get hypnotized by Kevin's fantastic approach on samples, basement beats and raw unspoiled, underground deep house. It's the Hood Funk.

Pele & Findling - Deep Sea

Pele & Findling - Deep Sea
Deep Sea is Pele & Findling's latest effort; a solid 2 track EP brought by Get Physical. Both have been in the Physical catalog before, a la Full Body Workout Vol. 7 and come together to give you a fresh view on Tech House. Pele & Findling take us to a place where Jazz met House, and 'Slap Your Soul' was born. A tight kick and a bouncy bassline set the stage for sublte chords and synth rhythms. A voiceover captures us as the track gets deeper, dancing becomes inevitable. The atmophere it creates is exactly what you will find at only the most memorable club nights.

'Deep Sea' embraces the same style of edited overlays and adds the chords next to a soulful vocal sample. A strong groove combines with a jazzy electric piano solo, rhythm and the beat take over. Deep Sea is as deep as it's title insinuates, yet light enough for late morning afterparties. Prepare to hear this track for a while to come, it's a pefect example of how Tech House is done right.
Lihab takes a darker path to the 'Deep Sea', discovering deep chords of dub origin and space to breath along the way. A heavy beat sets the pace and synth rhythms follow. This is Lihab's remix, a heavy track made light and versatile through brilliant use of jazz percussives and rich tones against a deep bass canvas.

'Slap Your Soul' is industrialized by Shawnecy, sharpening an already hot track and escorting us into the night. Stereophonic vocal edits flash through the darkness as dense kicks shake you in your bones. As you can't deny the groove. Keen-edged percussion ensures the energy stays focused. Basslines build and set in deep. Shawnecy contributes to a wonderful step in Tech House music.

Santé gives us a bassy remix of 'Deep Sea', adding congos and shakers to create a jungle feel. The track is closely related to the original, adding organs where needed, keeping things light and moving. A perfect fit to complete the EP, and secure a spot in any playlist or DJ chart.

Noir & Haze - Around (Subb-an Remix)
This brilliant remix was originally done as a secret weapon for Subb-an, Noir and a few close dj-friends to play out and surprise the crowds around the globe.
After handing out private copies to a few selected djs we ended up with enormous support on this remix from:
Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Radioslave, Art Department, Pete Tong, Dubfire,
Matthew Dear, Tiefschwarz, Butch, Gorge, Jimpster, Sasha,Reboot, Deetron,
Tim Green, 2000 And One, Catz n' Dogz, Matt Tolfrey, Ryan Crosson and

At DC10's closing party at Ibiza the Subb-an Remix was played no less than 3 times and the crowd was ecstatic each time. And after the YouTube video of Seth Troxler & Jamie Jones playing the track that specific night surfaced we have now ended up with a huge buzz and demand for this track to be released.
So here you go..... The Subb-an Remix of "Around".
